We’re halfway through our week of #surrender. Have you surrendered yet?
Did you give in to both 5-minute downward dogs during Monday’s House of Flexibility, and allow your body to fully sink all the way in … or did you ease up and hold back a little bit?
Did you allow yourself to slow down during Tuesday’s House of Fire, and really feel your inner flame slowly heating around your pelvis?
The truth is that even I struggle sometimes during classes. I am not ‘perfect’. My focus can drift. My muscles get tired.
It’s not about being in the ‘100% perfect downward dog for all five minutes’. It’s about pushing yourself to get as close to that as you can.
Our weekly intentions are intended (no pun intended) to be practiced OFF of your Zen57 mat throughout the week.
So, how else can you #surrender this week?
Remember: trust who you are and what you can achieve.
Surrender your reservations and fears. Gain control of your life by letting go of control.
Put another way: what would you do if you weren’t afraid of ____?
